Hi, I’m Rachael, the face behind Travel with Rachael.
I’m a wife, mum of two and a passionate traveller who believes some of life’s best memories are made when we explore the world together.
Travel has always been a huge part of my life. As a family, we make it a priority to travel at least three times a year, whether that’s relaxing on a beautiful beach, discovering somewhere new or making unforgettable memories together. My husband Jamie and I also make time for the occasional weekend away, because I believe holidays are just as important for couples as they are for families.
If you were to visit my kitchen, you’d probably notice the fridge covered in magnets from our travels. Each one reminds us of a place we’ve explored and a memory we’ve made.
Those experiences are exactly why I love helping others plan holidays they’ll remember for years to come.
My career has taken me on an interesting journey. After completing my law degree, I worked in the legal profession before moving into the wedding industry, helping couples plan one of the biggest days of their lives.
After having my second child, I became a stay-at-home mum and had the opportunity to reflect on what I truly wanted from my career.
The answer was easy—travel.
I wanted to build a business around something I genuinely love, combining my passion for travel with my love of helping people.
Today, I help families, couples and individuals find holidays that suit them perfectly. Whether you’re dreaming of a luxury family escape, a romantic getaway, a once-in-a-lifetime adventure or simply some well-deserved sunshine, I’m here to make planning your holiday simple, enjoyable and completely personal.
When I’m not researching destinations or planning holidays, you’ll usually find me baking, sewing or creating celebration cakes for family and friends.
I’m Essex born and bred, but definitely not your typical “Essex girl”—I prefer to keep life simple, whether that’s being make-up free, wearing natural nails or simply enjoying time with my family.
For me, being a travel agent isn’t just about booking holidays. It’s about getting to know you, understanding what’s important to your family, and taking the stress out of planning so you can focus on the excitement of your next adventure.
